The Owners’ Department, a unique and personalized service in France Galop. France Galop’s Owners’ Department throws open wide the doors of the prestigious circle of racehorse owners.

Did you know…? France offers you different benefits on taxes!

A horse owner can claim special tax benefits. If you are a “non-participating” owner - with no direct say on a horse’s career - any winnings will be tax free. If you decide to become “professional” or interventionist (thus involved with entries and other decisions), you can put the costs incurred in relation to your horses against income from other sources, which means that losses are tax-deductible and can be written off.
